Journey of the learning process in making use of ICTs as an empowerment tool

    For us, students, ICT plays an important role. We experienced significant changes when we transitioned from High School to Senior High School. However, several opportunities have presented themselves. For example, when we realize how important technology is to us. It guides us to complete our works and tasks quickly with the aid of ICT. In many ways, the effectiveness of ICT supports and improves the way we teach and learn. The use of information and communication technology (ICT) was assigned to raising awareness of a variety of issues affecting young people.

    Due to its vast exploration of almost all, today's youth are widely exposed to technologies. I had no idea what the meaning of ICT was at first, but as the lessons progressed, I learned several things, including the relevance and application of technology to each of us. SHS students have many opportunities, such as improving our skills and awareness by discovering how to use ICT, such as the definition, thoughts, and task. 

    Apart from the benefits, there were some challenges I faced during the ICT integration at this Senior High School, such as a poor Internet connection, spending a lot of time assisting teachers with the reference material, and frequent electricity shortages or brownouts. Due to the slow Internet link, we are having trouble searching for and sending files to the teachers. We are wasting so much time on the slow connection, which often disrupts the discussion schedule. The second challenge is to assist teachers with using their visual aids because their laptops or other electronic devices occasionally have problems or technical issues, which wastes discussion time. 

    Relying on what I've heard about ICT, I'd probably use the skills in almost every aspect of my life because, as we all know, computers and technology are always there. My understanding and ability to handle ICT will be fortunately used during my college years and even when I do my jobs in the future as a result of these experiences. This would be extremely beneficial in terms of completing homework and paper work, as well as planning blogs, research designs, project proposals, and many other ICT-related tasks. It would also benefit Senior High Students as it would be easier for us to implement ICT because we have already done it. Humans are introduced to innovations, so we should make the best use of them in the future to conquer problems and assist everyone.
